[原创]这就是滑点
昨天又人问什么是滑点,进来看看吧,这就是滑点。 Broker的回复: Dear Mr. XXXXX, Please be advised, This is indeed an interesting issue, you brought to our attention. Let us say this right away - we have nothing to do with it. This case is a pure force majeur. This link provides full coverage of the story that has caused that price spike: http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2013/apr/23/ap-tweet-hack-wall-street-freefall The event's affected numerous markets and can be observed on several other pairs besides the ones with JPY. 号称ECN账号,跟 company的liquidity有啥关系?
看来只能认栽了!
Dear Mr. XXXXX,
Please be advised,
There is no 100% guarantee that your Stop Order will be executed at the price set (kindly see the definition of Stop Order in the Company’s Definitions document). As soon as specified price is reached, the Stop Order is entered as a Market Order. Under Normal Market Conditions, the Company executes an Order at the Order level (see Clause 5.8. of the Company’s Terms of Business for Market Maker Types of Accounts). However, in a fast-moving volatile market/after news release/Gaps, the price at which the order is executed may be much different from the stop price in the case of a market order. In this case a Stop Order is executed by the Company at the first available Quote which is presented in the Quotes Flow after the Price Gap (see Clause 5.9 of the Company’s Terms of Business for Market Maker Types of Accounts).
Since, Market price is a subject to liquidity - for instance, you might have just enough to close one order out of many at the desired price and past that point there is simply no matching orders (which in effect form that liquidity) to close all other orders. So, the remaining orders will be attempted to be closed at some other price.
We really cannot say anything for other brokers. They might have had more liquidity at that moment, or they were acting as Market Maker instead. We don't know that.
Best Regards,
XXXXXX Team
